  I am a 27 year old male who visited Union Hospital due to it's relative closeness to my home. I have a history of Chronic Pain in my Bladder and Groin. At the time it was un-bearable and I was unable to sleep. This was the case the night I decided to go to Union. I arrive and only waited for about 20 minutes in the waiting room. I was taken back promptly. I am in my room and the doctor comes in about 30 minutes later. So far so good right? The doctor comes in and is immediately harping on me about an ER treating chronic pain and wonders why I have not talked to my Pain Management or Urologist. I explain to him it being Labor Day weekend I was unable to see them until Weds of the following week. I was only in there to try and get some sort of pain relief. Oh no! I take narcotics for my pain! I must be a drug addict! The doctor was rude and obnoxious. He didn't run a single test, nor perform an even basic examination. He said he would write me for a script of Ultram and send me on my way! My jaw hit the ground when he said this! Furious, I rang the call bell and told the nurses that I would not deal with him and demanded to see another doctor or P.A. The nurse was great and would have accommodated my request had there been another Doctor in the ER that night. Long story short, if you are in any sort of legit pain avoid this place like the plague. They are rude and horrible un-caring Doctors running the ER! I will NEVER return to that hospital again. I also called and filed a formal complaint with the customer service department. Let's just say I won't be receiving a bill...
